Seasonal Tractor Operator

Duties Operates farm-type 2 and 4 wheel drive tractors and tow or attach equipment on steep, slippery or rough terrain. Operating equipment for snow removal in various areas of the park to include roads, sidewalks, trails. Operates backhoes and front-end loading devices in performing grounds maintenance functions and uses this equipment in performing earthmoving projects to close tolerances. Operates the Tennant sweeper as required. Spray trails and trees with high pressure sprayer attached to tractor PTO on rough and unlevel ground. Operates weedeaters, edgers, and chainsaws to trim vegetation around signposts, various ground structures, sidewalks, and roads. Uses hand tools such as rakes and shovels to remove leaves from smooth landscaped surfaces. using tractors, skid steers, trucks and UTVs to perform a variety of functions including snow removal and trail maintenance. Other duties including building and fence maintenance, trash removal and cleaning, and various other facilities management related tasks. This is an open continuous vacancy announcement. I have handled emergency road service situations. I have performed routine maintenance on tractors and vehicles.
