Experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Member

Well established lower mainland landscaping company looking for experienced maintenance crew:

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the upkeep and beautification of residential, commercial, or municipal landscapes by performing routine maintenance tasks. This role involves physical outdoor work in various weather conditions and requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and edgers.
Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites.
Identify and report any pests, diseases, or property damage.
Assist with irrigation checks and minor repairs.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Load and unload tools and materials at the beginning and end of the workday.

Qualifications:
2 years plus of prior landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
Must have valid class 5 drivers licence and clean driving record.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Reliable transportation to and from the job site or meeting location.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
