Requirements / Qualifications

GROUNDS/MAINTENANCE/BUS DRIVER

8 Hours (1 Hour Lunch) - 12 Months

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate

3. Job related experience is desired

4. Valid California School Bus Drivers Special Certificate *

5. Valid Class A or B Commercial DMV License (with P & S Endorsement) *

6. Current H6 Department of Motor Vehicles Report

7. Medical Examination Report (DOT)

8. TB Skin Test- Negative Result

9. Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigations- Fingerprint Clearance

10. Complete District Drug Testing Requirements

* Based on qualifications, the District may consider candidates not fully licensed for bus driving with the intent to complete licensing requirements once employed by the District.
