Grounds & Farm Laborer Private Equestrian Client - Wellington, FL Entry-Level | Full-Time | $20-$23/hour | Full Benefits | Growth Opportunity A private equestrian estate in Wellington is seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds & Farm Laborer to help maintain its pristine grounds and support daily operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, values teamwork, and is looking to grow within a respected and well-established environment. Key Responsibilities Your day-to-day will include a variety of tasks to keep the estate running smoothly and beautifully: Preventative maintenance: gutter and roof cleaning, equipment upkeep, window washing, painting, and pressure washing of exterior surfaces Equestrian support: cleaning paddocks, sand rings, horse walker equipment, and maintaining the grand prix field Landscape care: planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, watering, and light irrigation work Daily walkthroughs: debris pickup, driveway upkeep, and identifying any areas needing attention Team support: assist the Estate Manager, Equestrian Team, and other staff with operational tasks as needed Equipment & Tool Use You'll be expected to safely and confidently operate: Hedge trimmers Lawn mowers Chainsaws Small hand and gardening tools Qualifications & Skills We're looking for someone who brings: Basic knowledge of landscaping, irrigation, and groundskeeping (experience on equestrian estates or golf courses is a plus) Physical stamina to bend, kneel, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and work outdoors in all weather conditions A collaborative spirit and ability to work independently with a positive attitude Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Comfort with technology (smartphones, WhatsApp, etc.) Respect for privacy and discretion in all tasks Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written) A valid driver's license and clean driving record Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available) Ability to pass background checks (criminal, credit, and driving history) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $20-$23/hour Full benefits package Overtime opportunities A chance to work for a prominent family in a role with long-term growth potential This is more than just a jobit's a gateway to a rewarding career in private estate management.
