Grounds Maintenance
Mow, trim, and edge lawns, walkways, and common areas.
Remove weeds, debris, and trash from property grounds, parking lots, and shoreline.
Maintain flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees (watering, pruning, mulching).
Sweep and blow leaves from docks, sidewalks, and outdoor seating areas.
Facility & Dock Area Care
Inspect docks, walkways, and decks for hazards or maintenance needs.
Pressure wash docks, decks, and building exteriors as scheduled.
Clean and restock outdoor trash receptacles and recycling bins.
Maintain cleanliness around picnic areas, grills, and outdoor furniture.
Marina-Specific Tasks
Assist with seasonal preparation of marina facilities (opening/closing).
Clear driftwood, aquatic vegetation, or debris from shoreline and slips.
Monitor landscaping near fuel docks and other sensitive areas to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Apply ice melt or sand in winter months to prevent slips and falls.
Repairs & Upkeep
Perform minor repairs on outdoor fixtures, fencing, signage, and equipment.
Report any significant repair needs or hazards to management immediately.
Maintain and operate groundskeeping tools and equipment in safe working order.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all marina safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating machinery or using chemicals.
Report suspicious activity, vandalism, or unsafe conditions to marina management.
Customer Service
Greet guests and slip holders in a friendly, professional manner.
Provide basic directions or information about marina facilities.
Notify management of customer concerns or requests.
