SUMMARY: The principle responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to insure reliability of maintaining plant grounds keeping areas with a professional look at all times; read and report meter readings; spray weeds; operate weed trimmers gas powered ; maintain sprinkler system; remove snow from walkways; spread ice melt; trim bushes and trees; drive tractors for mowing clearing pushing snow and spraying of weeds; mow grass lawn mower ; repair fence around the perimeter of the facility; general up keep of outside areas with emphasis in trash debris removal; bringing in full totes of laundry chemical and removal of empty totes from Laundry Room along with chemical inventory counts; bringing in toilet tissue paper towels daily for janitorial; bringing in PI supplies; maintain all grounds equipment and ordering of parts for making repairs; spraying insecticide to control flies. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Communication Skills: Must be able and willing to communicate with a variety of team members including upper management giving feedback to upper management and team members. Must be able and willing to understand manuals and diagrams. Other Skills: Must possess a valid driver s license. Must be able and willing to work weekends. Must be able and willing to operate heavy equipment including but not limited to tractors bobcat lawn mowing equipment forklift frontend loaders and sky-tracks. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Travel: None Computer Skills: Basic computer skills Physical Requirements: Must be able and willing to stand and walk on hard wet and slippery surfaces for long periods of time crouch squat climb stairs and ladders and occasionally crawl. Must be able and willing to repetitively lift occasionally overhead push pull and carry 75 pounds individually and more with assistance. Must be able and willing to continuously and repetitively grasp reach pinch and hold small medium and large sized objects frequently. Must be able and willing to work in cold and or hot humid wet environment.

This facility accepts rehires after 365 days. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
