Landscaping Sales Representative Jobs in Missouri
A Landscaping Sales Representative is a professional who promotes and sells landscape services and products to commercial and residential clients. They establish and maintain relationships with clients, create and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and follow up on leads to secure new projects. Additionally, they work closely with the design and installation teams to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded. These professionals are essential to the landscaping industry as they drive sales and contribute to the growth and profitability of the business.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of landscaping, horticulture or related field is advantageous, as is the ability to read landscape designs. Besides, they should have a valid driver's license to travel to client locations. While not always required, having certifications like Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) can enhance job prospects. Prior to becoming a Landscaping Sales Representative, an individual may have roles such as a Landscape Technician, Landscape Designer, or a Sales Associate in a related industry.
