Job Overview
Borst Landscape is hiring a Landscape Enhancement Crew Lead. The Landscape Enhancement Crew Lead is responsible for leading and working alongside a crew to execute landscape enhancement projects efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. This role combines hands-on landscape work with leadership, customer service, and project coordination to ensure timely completion of enhancement services such as installations, upgrades, and seasonal improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Crew Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, train, and motivate a landscape enhancement crew to meet daily production goals
  • Assign tasks and ensure work is completed according to specifications and safety standards
  • Monitor crew performance and provide on-the-job coaching and feedback
  • Ensure proper PPE usage and adherence to company safety policies

Project Execution

  • Perform and supervise landscape enhancement services including, but not limited to:
  • Planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
  • Mulching and bed enhancements
  • Hardscape installation (pavers, edging, small retaining walls, etc.)
  • Irrigation repairs and upgrades
  • Seasonal color and landscape upgrades
  • Read and interpret enhancement work orders, plans, and scopes of work
  • Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and presentable at all times

Job Requirements

  • 25 years of landscape or enhancement experience, including leadership or crew lead responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of landscape installation, materials, and best practices
  • Ability to lead by example and work alongside crew members in all weather conditions
  • Experience operating landscaping equipment (skid steer, mini-excavator, etc.) preferred
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (chauffeur or DOT card preferred, if applicable)
