Experienced Gardener - Private Estate Care - $25/hr (Princeton / New Hope) compensation: 25 per hour employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Gardener Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Gardener to manage the seasonal care and maintenance of 6 beautiful private residences located in Princeton, Titusville, Lambertville, and New Hope. This is an ideal role for someone who truly loves gardening, finds joy in outdoor work, and takes pride in "fine detailed craftsmanship." You will be responsible for ensuring these properties remain in peak condition throughout the growing season. Hours: 20-40 hours per week (consistent, weather-dependent). Season: Spring through late Fall. Note: There is no work during the winter months. Key Responsibilities: - General garden maintenance including weeding, deadheading, and pruning. - Planting, mulching, and bed preparation. - General yard cleanup and debris removal. - Monitoring plant health and soil conditions across various unique landscapes. - Communicating effectively regarding tasks completed and needs for each property. Requirements: - A True Love for Gardening: We are looking for someone who enjoys the "mind in motion" aspect of working with nature and has a genuine passion for the craft. - Reliable Vehicle: Must have a personal vehicle to travel between properties (Princeton, Titusville, Lambertville, and New Hope). - Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites. - Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. - Experience: Previous gardening or landscaping experience is preferred.
