Experienced Irrigation / Sprinkler Technician

A busy and growing landscaping company is seeking a full-time, experienced Irrigation/Sprinkler Technician to join our team. Responsibilities include:
Installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation and sprinkler systems
Spring start-ups and winterizations
Low-voltage landscape lighting installation and service
Troubleshooting irrigation issues and performing repairs
Assisting with general landscape installations and maintenance as needed
Interacting professionally with clients and promoting additional services
Maintaining accurate inventory records
Working outdoors in all weather conditions and handling physical labor such as digging, trenching, and root removal

Qualifications:
13 years of irrigation experience required (training available for the right candidate)
Knowledge of irrigation systems, repairs, and maintenance
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Ability to handle physical workload
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
Clean New York State drivers license required
Ability to read and write English required
Landscape and snow removal experience a plus
Licensed Backflow Tester a plus, but not required
