The gardening crew is a 4 person group that works hard and has fun in residential gardens. Our work includes planting, pruning, deadheading, weeding, composting, mulching, and anything else that keeps plants and flowers looking their best. We plant annuals in the spring and bulbs in the fall as well.
The right candidate will be a hard worker and have a good sense of humor. They will be trained by the current garden crew leader this season as our current leader plans to depart our fantastic team eventually. Hoping to make this transition smooth so the current customers feel like they are being taken care of and for the rest of the crew that they are being looked after and put in the proper hands.
Candidates should have experience working with their hands in yards in the past. Familiarity with some hand tools and difference between plants and weeds will help.
We offer competitive compensation starting at $25-27 per hour depending on knowledge and experience. Position will begin as soon as we find the right person. We work Monday-Thursday. A typical work day in summer begins on site at 7:30 and we work until around 1:30-2pm. Some days could go a bit longer or shorter but it's very consistent. We have 3 excellent gardeners returning this season as well, one of which will do the training.
