Job Purpose
Responsibilities include maintaining the physical grounds of the hotel, including the parking lot and courtyard. The role of a groundsperson must be attentive to detail to ensure a high-quality appearance of the entire property. The groundsperson must be dexterous, with a fast pace and an ability to use different equipment when necessary.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Safety and Environmental Performance
Ensuring that all applicable safety regulations are communicated and adhered to by personal example
Support full hotel compliance with safety rules to further our goal of zero (0) accidents and encouragement of reporting and correcting near misses
Adhere to SOPs and other work procedures as required to ensure guest satisfaction and consistent service is delivered to our patrons
Immediately report all injuries to Loss Prevention, as well as the manager on duty
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining and upkeep of the physical grounds of the hotel including parking lot and courtyard.
Responsible for cutting grass and watering flowers.
Perform daily inspection of physical grounds and equipment.
Responsible for maintaining a clean grounds including; sweeping curbs, cleaning parking lot and courtyard.
Must be proficient with a variety of grounds keeping tools and equipment, such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, etc.
Responds in a courteous manner to all guest questions, requests, and complaints.
Qualifications
Zero to two years of experience.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Basic knowledge of landscaping preferred.

Around dust and mite hazards

Required to wear a company-provided uniform when applicable
