Position Overview The Landscape Construction Laborer assists with a variety of tasks supporting landscape construction projects. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to build a career in the landscaping or construction industry. Youll work alongside experienced crew members to help complete projects safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, installation, and cleanup for landscape construction projects

• Safely use hand tools such as shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows, and other common equipment

• Excavate trenches for drainage systems and irrigation piping

• Load, move, and distribute soil, rocks, and other materials on-site

• Load and unload tools, equipment, pipe, and materials

• Operate small equipment such as trenchers, augers, and compact machinery (with training)Assist with irrigation and drainage system installation under supervision

• Maintain a clean and organized job site

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

• Work effectively as part of a team and take direction from foremen and supervisors

Requirements
Qualifications

• Previous landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred (not required)

• Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with team members

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day

• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely

Work Environment

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, light rain)

• Exposure to dust, noise, and typical construction site conditions
